A strong and defined jawline is now attainable thanks to Juvederm Volux. If you are unsatisfied with your jawline, Volux in The Woodlands can make your jaw look naturally chiseled.

What Is Volux?

Volux is one of the latest treatments in Juvederm’s line of injectable dermal fillers. It is an FDA-approved filler that contains hyaluronic acid, a synthetic version of a substance found naturally in the body. Since Volux also contains lidocaine (a local anesthetic), it provides effective numbing for a pain-free treatment session.

Volux distinguishes itself from other Juvederm fillers by adding firmness and volume to the chin and jawline. Once it is injected into the target areas, it creates a natural-looking definition and structure.

Am I a Good Candidate for Volux?

People with a poorly defined jawline and chin who do not want to undergo surgical procedures are the best candidates for Volux. These candidates must be at least 21 years old.

Volux cannot help people with severe jowls or sagging skin. It is not recommended for people with allergies to lidocaine or hyaluronic acid fillers. When people have active rashes, acne breakouts, skin sores, cysts, hives, or infections in the treatment area, the procedure should be postponed until these skin problems have healed.

Your Volux Consultation

We will look over your medical history during your consultation to check for possible health issues or allergies. We will ask about your aesthetic goals, discuss what the treatment can do, and advise if Volux is right for you. Additionally, we will talk about pain management options if you want pre-treatment numbing.

The Volux Treatment Session

Before injecting you with the Volux gel filler, the treatment area will be cleaned, and the areas of injection will be carefully marked. You will need to wait 20 to 30 minutes for the numbing agent to work.

Next, small amounts of Volux will be injected into the jawline and chin areas. These areas may be massaged gently to ensure filler integration and even distribution into the skin. After the injections, ice may be applied to the jawline and chin briefly to reduce any discomfort or swelling.

Volux Aftercare

No recovery will be needed after the Volux treatment session. You may experience temporary soreness, bruising, lumps, redness, discoloration, itching, or swelling. Avoid strenuous exercise, exposure to the sun, and alcoholic drinks within the first 24 hours. You can use an ice pack on the swollen areas.

You will be able to enjoy the initial results of Volux immediately. It may take around four weeks to experience the full results.

The Cost of Volux

The cost of Volux treatments varies based on the pre-filled syringes used. Most cases need one to two syringes to see visible results, although this will vary depending on your case and goals. You will learn more about the price of the treatment during the consultation.
