What is Cellulaze?

Finally, there’s a longer-lasting, one-time treatment to reduce the appearance of cellulite. It’s a unique laser treatment called Cellulaze that attacks the very structure of cellulite. Cellulite isn’t a fat problem; it’s a structural problem below the skin. Only Cellulaze attacks the brittle structure beneath the skin which is the real cause of cellulite’s dimpled appearance. It increases your skin’s natural depth for a smoother, healthier look that lasts—all from just one simple treatment. Get ready to bare it all again!

How is Cellulaze Performed?

This amazing treatment is performed by using a very small cannula (or tube about the size of the tip of a pen) inserted under the skin. A unique SideLight™ laser fiber inside the tube delivers energy directly under the skin. The precise SideLight laser energy increases the depth and quality of your skin, while simultaneously releasing the fibrous bands that pull down on your skin, to minimize the orange peel look associated with cellulite. The laser is also used to diminish the lumpy pockets of fat that protrude through the fibrous bands under your skin.

Your Cellulaze Recovery

Discomfort: This amazing procedure is a very precise and individualized treatment. Without a complimentary consultation and a complete evaluation of the areas to be treated, we can not provide an accurate estimate. Dr. Rivela really needs to see the prospective patient first to provide an accurate quote.

Swelling: As a minimally invasive surgical procedure, there will be some swelling and a little soreness.

Scarring: The incision sites will be very small. With proper care, any scars will be barely noticeable. Dr. Rivela in The Woodlands is best to evaluate your skin type and provide the best information on scar prevention.

Final Results: Only one Cellulaze treatment is necessary to achieve the desired results. You’ll see some immediate results, but the final results won’t be apparent for 3-6 months. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule, but unless there are very large areas that need to be treated, one procedure will provide excellent results.
