What is FaceTite?
FaceTite is the latest breakthrough in non-surgical technology. It is an FDA-approved revolutionary minimally invasive treatment that burns fat and tightens sagging skin on the face and neck. This is a perfect treatment for those who are too young or just not quite ready for aggressive surgical rejuvenation. In addition, it can be very beneficial for those who have already undergone a surgical face or neck lift and just desire a touch-up without undergoing surgery again.
FaceTite can provide ‘mini-facelift’ results without the downtime and associated scars that come with surgery. It uses radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis to destroy fat cells under the skin. When performing FaceTite, Dr. Rivela inserts a small probe just underneath the surface of your skin. By activating the probe, he can then “melt” away excess fat with radiofrequency energy and then suction it all away. At the same time, radiofrequency energy is applied to the outside of the skin to offer skin tightening “almost ironing the lines and skin irregularities away”. Dr. Rivela performs a FaceTite procedure under local anesthesia. He inserts the small probe underneath your skin to administer the radiofrequency energy that will heat up your deeper skin layers including the fat. At the same time, he can perform radiofrequency microneedling with Morpheus8 to tighten your skin and improve your skin texture.
Recovery from FaceTite is much quicker than surgery. You can expect to need just a couple of days of downtime following the procedure. All our patients go home right after the procedure and resume regular activities within about two to three days.
Who is a good candidate for FaceTite?
Both men and women who want the effects of a facelift, but are not quite ready to undergo major surgery are good candidates for FaceTite.
