Introducing QWO for Cellulite

Cellulite is an extremely common condition that affects almost 90% of all women who are 21 years or older as well as some men. Cellulite is a genetic skin condition that is characterized by depressions or ripples contouring the skin surface that causes the skin to have an “orange peel,” “cottage cheese,” or “mattress” like texture – depending on the severity of the condition. Cellulite occurs when the fibrous bands, (or fibrous septae) that connect the muscle to the dermis, thicken due to an increase in collagen type 1 and 3. The thickening of the bands results in an increase in tension in that tether, which results in these cellulite dimples.

QWO before and after

QWO before and after

QWO is a non-invasive procedure that works via injection that targets main causes of cellulite for outstanding results. QWO works in three ways: by breaking down the fibrous bands that cause tension between the skin and muscle, redistributing fat cells, and stimulating the production of collagen, which promotes smooth, healthy skin. Dr Rivela or his trained nursing staff will inject the solution into the dimples of the treatment area on the thigh. The solution contains enzymes (called AUX-I and AUX-II), which specifically target the collagen that has built up in the fibrous septae. This collagen has caused the fibrous septae to thicken and leads to tension on the skin. The AUX-I and AUX-II enzymes break down the collagen in the septae, causing the fibrous septae to snap and releasing the tension on the skin. When the tension is released, the fat cells that rose to the surface of the skin as a result of the tension, are redistributed, which relieves the lumpy texture of the skin. The AUX-I and AUX-II enzymes are naturally occurring in the body, so they are processed naturally by the body.

QWO testimonial

You will need to come to Rivela Plastic Surgery for three treatment sessions, each spaced 21 days apart. After those sessions, the effects of the treatment will appear slowly as the enzymes works to break the fibrous septae and redistribute the fat cells for smoother, contouring of the skin. You should see full results within 10 weeks of the treatment process.

Unlike many other treatments for cellulite, which tend to last for, at most, one year, QWO treatment is extremely long-lasting. QWO treatment is a way for you to permanently say goodbye to the cellulite.
