Botox Cosmetic: 

Botox® Cosmetic is the treatment of choice for dynamic wrinkles. It has become the most popular and safe, non-surgical cosmetic procedure performed today.  This therapy involves injecting small amounts of the purified protein into the facial muscles responsible for movement associated with lines and wrinkles primarily in the upper face. This injection relaxes the muscle, thus drastically reducing the appearance of the associated lines and wrinkles.

After treatment, the overlying skin remains smooth and unwrinkled, while the untreated facial muscles contract in a normal fashion, allowing normal facial expression to be unaffected.
